Fees

How your claim is funded and what you can expect to pay.

No win, no fee

“No win, no fee” means that, subject to you complying with your obligations under the agreement with your allocated law firm, you don't pay any of their fees if your claim is not successful.

You may still have to pay expenses incurred in bringing the claim, however these expenses will normally be covered in whole or part by an insurance policy that will be put in place on your behalf. If your claim is unsuccessful, your law firm will not ask you to pay any expenses which are not covered under the insurance policy.

If your claim is successful

If your claim is successful, a percentage of the amount recovered will be deducted as a success fee, plus VAT and expenses. The exact percentage depends on the law firm allocated to your claim and will be clearly set out in the agreement provided to you before you sign.

Early termination

There may be circumstances in which the relationship between you and your law firm ends before your claim finishes — for example, if you decide to move to a different firm of solicitors or wish to terminate the agreement early.

Whether you have to pay anything if that happens — and what you may have to pay if it does — depends on the circumstances. The detail of this will be set out in the agreement provided to you before you sign.

Our role

Sequence X Ltd operates this website as a claims marketing service. We check your eligibility for diesel emissions claims and, where appropriate, refer eligible claims to an SRA-regulated law firm. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

We may receive a referral fee from the law firm at no additional cost to you. Our services are provided free of charge — you will never be asked to pay Diesel Claims directly.
